In this captivating mixed media sculpture, a discarded green glass bottle is seamlessly transformed into the translucent body and spine of an exotic, deep-sea creature. Using the natural texture and form of the recycled glass Brigitte encases it in intricately sculpted clay that mimics weathered, bio-mechanical armour.

The piece is brought to life with a rich palette of acrylic gilding paints, layering metallic golds, deep bronzes, and iridescent greens that catch the light like sunlight filtering through water.
